This page says what TenBand collects when you visit tenbandlogic.com, book a call, or buy the Patient Contact Kit. It also says why, and who else sees it.
Who runs this site
TenBand is run by Harsh Pahurkar. Harsh is the person in charge of your information.
Business name and address: TenBand Logic Inc., 1200 Sample Street SW, Suite 400, Calgary, Alberta T2P 0A1
Email: harsh@tenbandlogic.com
What I collect
- When you book a call: your name, your email, and what you type into the booking form. Calendly collects this for me.
- When you buy the Kit: your name, your email, and your billing details. Stripe takes the payment. I never see your full card number.
- When you email me: your email address and what you write.
- When you visit: the servers that run this site see your IP address and your browser type, as on any website.
What stays in your browser
The Kit saves your progress in your own browser: your country, your counts, and your clinic details. It does not send them to me. I only get your totals if you press the button to send them, and then send that email yourself.
The site also remembers, in your browser, if you turned off motion.
Why I use it
- To hold the call you booked, and to talk with you about it
- To give you the Kit you paid for, and to answer your questions
- To keep the records the law asks for, like tax records
I do not sell your information. I only email you about the call you booked or the Kit you bought, unless you say yes to more.
Who else sees it
- Calendly, which runs the booking form
- Stripe, which takes payments
- Google Fonts, which sends the fonts this site uses. Google sees your IP address.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site
- A video host, only when you press play on a video: Vimeo
These companies may keep data outside Canada, including in the United States. Each one has its own privacy policy.
Patient records, for clinics
When a clinic hires me, I sign a Business Associate Agreement before I see a single patient name. That is the privacy contract HIPAA asks for. Patient records follow that agreement and the laws the clinic follows, not this page.
The free count uses totals only. It needs no patient names.
Patient names and records stay in Canada, in locked, encrypted storage that only I can open. I keep them only while we work together. When the work ends, I delete them within 30 days and email you to say they are gone. For clinics in Ontario, this follows PHIPA, the Ontario health privacy law.
Calls, for rental yards
When a rental yard hires me, calls to its after-hours line are recorded and written out. The yard gets the recording and the written copy.
At the start of every call, callers hear: “This call is recorded so we get your booking right.” Recordings and written copies are kept for 90 days in encrypted storage in Canada, then deleted.
How long I keep it
I keep booking details and emails for 2 years after we last talk. I keep payment records for 6 years, because tax law asks for that.
Your choices
Email me, and you can:
- Ask what information I have about you
- Ask me to fix it if it is wrong
- Ask me to delete it, unless the law says I must keep it
- Ask me to stop emailing you
I answer within 30 days. In Canada, if my answer does not fix it, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Do Not Track
This site runs no ads and no tracking code of its own. So it does nothing different when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Calendly and Stripe may handle that signal their own way.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
